Create two animations like the attached videos. Please note the following details:
Assignment 01a
1) The length of the animation is 8 seconds at 30 frames per second. (0.5)
2) Correctly model the scene with the all the objects. Add only one omni light, and a target camera.

3) It takes 1 second for the stick to pull back and then 1/3 of a second to hit the torus. (0.5)
4) The torus rolls for 3 seconds to the other side. Its size reduces by 15% per second. (1)
5) The torus rolls in the opposite direction for 1.5 seconds and returns to the original size by the time
it reaches the starting point. (1)
6) The cloth moves with the wind towards the left, and the wind’s direction changes to the right
after the torus starts moving to the right. (0.5)
7) The camera should zoom in initially, move with the torus, and rotates and pulls back in the last
two seconds. (1)
8) Use the Scanline renderer for generating the final output. The video should be rendered at
resolution 640x360. (0.5)
9) Choose the appropriate materials for each object and choose the appropriate environment map.

10) Render the video as an avi file YourID_Assignment01.avi.
Assignment 01b
1) The length of the video is 4 seconds at 30 frames per second. (0.5)
2) It takes 1 second for the cloth to fall on the ellipse. (1)
3) The ellipse takes 1 second to rotate by 180 degrees. (0.5)
4) The rotates twice over the next two seconds, and its size doubles and comes back to the original
size as shown. (1)
5) Use the Scanline renderer for generating the final output. The video should be rendered at
resolution 640x360. (0.5)
6) Choose the appropriate materials for each object and light for the scene. (0.5)
7) Render the video as an avi file YourID_Assignment01b.avi.
The final grade will also take into consideration the aesthetic details, e.g., look and feel of the scene, camera and lighting.
Submit the avi files together with the max files as a single compressed file YourID_Assignment01.zip. No AVI file will result in 50% marks reduction.
