Job Title: Finance Course Instructor

We are an emerging education startup based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, focused on bridging the gap between academic education and practical skills required in the finance and commerce sectors. We offer industry-accredited short-term courses to help students from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities enhance their employability and succeed in competitive job markets.

We are currently seeking passionate and knowledgeable instructors to join our team and deliver the following short-term finance courses:

1. Financial Analysis using Python
2. Financial Modelling using Excel
3. Quantitative Finance (Financial Derivatives)
4. Company Valuation and Mergers & Acquisitions
5. Investment Management with Python

Key Responsibilities:
1) Develop and deliver engaging course content for one or more of the above-listed courses.
2) Conduct hands-on training sessions, ensuring that students gain practical, industry-relevant skills.
3) Guide students through the course’s practical project phase (2nd month) and provide mentorship for real-world applications.
4) Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and project evaluations.
5) Facilitate online or in-person discussions and workshops to promote interactive learning.
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and integrate them into course materials.

Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
CFA, FRM (pursuing/completed) or similar certification is a plus.
2) Proficiency in the subject area you wish to teach (e.g., Python for finance, financial modeling in Excel, etc.).
3) Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
4) Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
5) Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to students from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
6) Enthusiasm for education and a passion for helping students develop their careers.
7) Prior experience of working in the finance industry is preferred but not mandatory.
