Role #1: Online Math Tutor
Key Responsibilities
Conduct 1:1 or small-group tutoring sessions via online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
Teach foundational to advanced math concepts (depending on student age and level)—covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and basic calculus for older students if needed.
Create and adapt lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style, curriculum requirements, and proficiency level.
Track and communicate progress: Provide regular updates to students, parents, and our platform regarding milestones, challenges, and achievements.
Motivate and engage students through interactive activities, real-life examples, and positive reinforcement techniques.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s (or higher) in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years of tutoring or teaching experience (online or in-person).
Familiarity with IGCSE, CBSE, American curricula, or other relevant standards is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Comfort using online learning tools, virtual whiteboards, and productivity software.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Role #2: Online Computer Science Tutor
Key Responsibilities
Deliver online classes covering foundational to intermediate CS topics—e.g., basic programming, logic, data structures, and introductory algorithms.
Design structured lesson materials aligned with students’ current curriculum or standardized exams (IGCSE/IB/AP Computer Science).
Offer real-world insights to illustrate coding principles and spark student interest (e.g., simple coding challenges, project-based learning).
Track student performance: Provide timely feedback, progress reports, and remedial support as needed.
Encourage innovation by guiding students in creative problem-solving, and cultivating a passion for technology.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
At least 1–3 years of experience teaching or tutoring computer science or programming concepts.
Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in online collaboration tools, IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), and coding platforms.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal communication, patience in explaining technical concepts, and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
