Audrino Based Weighing Scale with limit alarm
Description
Basic weight measuring system designed using Arduino. The system will consist of
• a 10 kg load cell (preferably HX711),
• a 1602 LCD display, for real time weight display
• a microcontroller like Arduino
• a numeric keypad for manually setting the weight limit.
• a 4-digit 1602 LCD display, for Set limit weight display
• Push Button Momentary Switches
• 2 or 4 Channel 5V Relay Module
• Wires etc
Key Features
1. Display weight data on a 16x2 LCD
2. Using of HX711 load cell (driver circuits comes with it)
3. Load cell data will go into Arduino microcontrollers
4. Manual limit setting via numeric keypad, will be displayed on LCD
5. Above limit data will be hold in Arduino RAM (EEPROM etc not required)
6. Real-time weight comparison by Arduino against the set limit
7. 5V output activation upon reaching weight limit (name is limit alarm)
8. Use this 5V output to drive relay
9. Push button reset for the alarm and go to step 6

Additional note
• Aesthetics are not a priority for the prototype.
• A simple setup using a wooden/plastic board and soldered wires will suffice.
Ideal Skills
• Proficient in Arduino programming
• Circuit designing, interfacing LCD displays and keypads with Arduino
• Ability to design simple prototypes
Hardware
Will be provided by the project floater based on list provided by the project executioner
Total Deliverable Prototypes: 4 (1 for final approval + 3 copies)
