I'm trying to learn the basics of javascript so that I can create a chrome extension to help me automate the job searching process. I'm essentially trying to pass my CV and the job site through to a chatGPT API that will return a cover letter as text I can paste and send in my job application. I realize this may seem like I'm procrastinating on actually submitting my job applications, but I'm interested in it as a project and I believe the skills I learn will be valuable later on. I've tried to get by on my own but I'm finding it challenging with the time pressure so I'm hoping a knowledgable teacher can help guide me.
