Hi, my name is Justin, I am looking for a Mandarin tutor that can help me go from a B2 to C1+ level in the next 6 months. I have been studying Chinese for the last two years and am now working in a software company in Taipei where most of my work and meetings is done in Chinese with my colleagues. Although this is a great opportunity to practice, this environment does not provide me the space to improve because of the fast-paced requirements of a workplace.

Next to that, I have found it increasingly difficult to make significant progress on my own, beyond vocabulary acquisition and practicing my listening.

I am looking for a Taiwan Mandarin tutor that can help me in the following aspects:

- Help me structure my speech (Telling a story, describing a situation, making a presentation. making an argumentation)
- Correct my grammar, vocabulary and tones (for a C1 level / university entry level)
- Provides me with homework that support the above goals (e.g. reading an article from 報導者 and summarizing the key points)

I already have a decent, although very imperfect Chinese and I am looking for a tutor that can help me perfect it, so I hope their level-requirements will meet mine. :)

I would like the class to focus primarily on oral communication, as this is the part where I am the least able to practice on my own. For example, we could work with exercises where given a situation/information, I need to communicate something (presentation, argument etc). The class could also include a section where we review the correction of my homework (using Mandarin), which ideally has been corrected before the class. I would also appreciate if the entire class is exclusively conducted in Mandarin.

In conclusion, I am a disciplined self-learner who is looking for a tutor that can help me perfect my Chinese. If you are interested, may I ask you to provide me with a high-level course plan proposal for 10 weeks?

Some additional information:

- I am based in Taipei
- Looking for online 1-to-1 class, two times 1-hour class per week, preferably in the morning before 10AM (but this is not a deal-breaker)
- I use 注音 and 繁體字
- I can read about 700 characters
- I am looking for a course in the NTD 500-600/hour range, and open up to 700 if the course quality justifies it.
